Statement on the Passing of Robert Bork

Concerned Women for America (CWA) CEO and President Penny Nance had this to say on the passing of former Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork:

Judge Robert Bork was a hero to those of us who love and cherish the Constitution of the United States. He was a true patriot. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Judge Bork was a special friend to CWA. We fought hard against the vicious and unfair attacks of the Left that ultimately derailed his nomination to the Supreme Court. Yet, the immense, positive impact of his great intellect on American jurisprudence could not be thwarted. His influential work as a scholar is a legacy that will live forever in the hearts and minds of every young attorney seeking an honest approach to the law. He will be greatly missed.
