Concerned Women for America (CWA) is the nation's largest public policy women's organization with a rich history of over 30 years of helping our members across the country bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy. We are a unique blend of policy experts and an activist network of people in small towns and big cities across the country working to address mutually-held concerns and goals.
CWA is seeking a bookkeeper in our Washington, D.C. office. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook. A degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Strict attention to detail, honesty and confidentiality are a must. Strong research and writing skills are a plus.
You will be responsible for paying invoices, accounting of mail and donations each day, preparing a weekly deposit, corresponding with donors, working with fundraising programs and preparing various financial reports including monthly financial summaries for CWA's Field Department.
Other duties include managing the Electronic Funds Transfer program, executing money transfers, preparing year-end statements and other projects as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer. For a full list of duties, click here.
