Dear Friend,

Over the past few months, Concerned Women for America (CWA) has been immersed — with the rest of the nation — in the fight over the health care bill. From our national office down to our state organizations (with many of our state leaders attending town hall meetings), CWA has fought for the unborn, who are not ignored in the health care bill, but actually targeted by abortion provisions.

President Obama believes that America needs this health care bill. Concerned Women for America believes the health care bill needs a health care bill!

This edition of your Family Voice addresses the issue. But as with most hot button issues, information changes with the wind, and new information arrives daily. Please also check www.cwfa.org for the most up-to-date information on this hotly contested debate.

Lastly, won't you please tell your friends about us? Send the link to this edition to your personal e-mail lists, and please also introduce us to your friends if you're on Facebook or Twitter. The links to CWA on both of those networks can be found via the buttons at the bottom of this e-mail.

Sincerely,

Beverly LaHaye
Founder and Chairman

From the President

Pundits called it a “hail Mary pass.” As President Obama’s health care plan nosedived, he turned to liberal religious leaders for support. His opponents are “bearing false witness.” He and his allies are “God’s partners in matters of life and death.” This backfired. Read more ...
