Ways to Give to Concerned Women for America Current Gifts | Legacy Gifts
CWA's planned giving program allows supporters to tailor charitable gifts to their own personal financial and charitable goals. The program often allows donors to make gifts they would otherwise be unable to make by providing special tax and financial benefits. There are many different vehicles to choose from, allowing each donor to come up with a unique and personalized giving plan that fits into their broader financial goals.
This page is designed to give you a brief overview of many of the vehicles that are available to CWA donors. As you look them over, you will probably realize there are many ways of giving that have never occurred to you before.
If you have been considering a special gift to CWA, or would like more information about how to include charitable intentions in your overall financial plans, please contact our Planned Giving Office. We can provide more information and even help you and your advisor tailor a giving plan to your individual needs.
As always, be sure to consult your professional advisor regarding how such plans will affect your personal tax and financial situation. This information is provided as a service by CWA, and is, by necessity, general in nature. For more information contact our Planned Giving Office at (800) 458-8797.
Current Gifts Immediate gifts are the life-blood of the organization and include cash gifts and responses to specific appeals. But did you know you can make non-cash gifts? Some non-cash gifts require a bit of planning but many are quite simple. And non-cash gifts can be incorporated into legacy gifts as well.
 | Legacy Gifts As you are no doubt aware, CWA's mission to restore our country to the Biblical values upon which it was founded requires a long-term and continuing effort. While Concerned Women for America depends on current gifts to sustain our day-to-day activities, the organization cannot overlook the need to plan for the future battles that undoubtedly lie ahead. Many generous donors find that Legacy Gifts provide:
- Bequests - Since you need to have a will in place for many reasons, it is often a convenient means of charitable giving. It is also affordable because it doesn't affect your assets or cashflow during your lifetime.
- Annuities - You can make a generous gift to CWA while also providing a lifetime income stream for yourself or a loved one.
- Trusts - The most flexible of giving plans, trusts can be structured to meet many different objectives.
- Life Insurance - Many people have policies they no longer need for their original purposes. These policies can be leveraged in several ways.
