A Critical Role
Concerned Women for America (CWA) works to stop judicial activism by promoting a proper understanding of the constitutional role of our judiciary. Judges are to interpret the law as enacted by the legislature and must not make new law or change the law to what they think the law should be by disguising it as interpretation. "We the People" should therefore be engaged in the judicial confirmation process to ensure that the President nominates and the Senate confirms judges who understand their proper role and respect the Constitution.

In the Spotlight
Time to 'Walk the Walk' on Judicial Nominations
The complete disregard and contempt for the Constitution and mere truth exhibited by Sen. Leahy and his liberal consorts must end. We applaud Republican senators for standing up and calling out the Democrats on their obstruction, but the time for talk has to come to an end. It is time to walk the walk. The people want to see judicial nominees get a fair up-or-down vote, and Republican senators should use every tool at their disposal to see that this happens.
