Being accepted to the Ronald Reagan Memorial Internship Program at CWA was truly a joy and an honor. I can think of no better organization for a young woman to "get her feet wet" here in Washington. There is such an emphasis on CWA interns getting a true hands-on experience, rather than just another "grunt" work internship. The staff have truly tried to get to know me, my heart, and my interests and allowed me to get involved with projects about which I truly feel passionate.
While I have had the opportunity to work with several members of the CWA National staff, my intern position has been in the National Field Department under the supervision of Kenda Bartlett, National Field Director. During this time, I have had the opportunity to see the real heart and soul of the organization by getting to know many of the state and grassroots leaders from all over the country.
I would highly recommend that any young Christian conservative woman or man apply to take part in this magnificent internship program and take part in the unmatched work of Concerned Women for America as they stand on behalf of liberty and the family in the public policy arena. |
