With statistics showing that 1 in 4 teenage girls has a sexually transmitted disease there is no time like now to insure that government funds go to the most effective sex education programs. A new study of the outcomes of abstinence education and comprehensive (condom-promoting) sex education shows that abstinence far outpaces other programs when it comes to preventing both STDs and pregnancy.
