Bullseye Collection Agency, a small family-run business based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, distinguishes itself through business practices that demonstrate respect and diligence, which is proclaimed in their letterhead with the acronym “WWJD.” The use of that acronym has now been challenged by its competitor Bureau of Collection Recovery, LLC (BCR), one of the largest collection agencies in the nation, as a violation of the federal Debt Collection Practices Act. BCR claims that the acronym is “offensive” and “harassing.” Horatio Mihet, Senior Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel, says that Bullseye’s use of WWJD does not violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and so Liberty Counsel has come alongside this firm to defend Bullseye and the religious rights of all businessmen.
