Protest New Orleans Planned Parenthood Abortion Facility to be Built

Planned Parenthood is planning to build a new abortion facility in New Orleans; this new facility will perform abortions. There are a couple of events that have been planned to protest the building of this facility; CWA members are invited to attend:

Thursday, May 16: City-Wide Prayer and Awareness Meeting
Franklin Avenue Baptist Church at 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., with a Community Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public on the plans for Planned Parenthood’s regional abortion center and discuss ways that people can respond.

Monday, May 20: Press Conference and Gathering Next to the Site of the Planned Abortion Facility
6:00 p.m. at 4612 S. Claiborne Avenue New Orleans
This press conference and gathering will feature Abby Johnson, a former director of a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Texas, Archbishop Gregory Aymond, and Pastor Antoine Barriere.
