Protecting Children from Peer-to-Peer Pornography

Listen

Those seeking to corrupt our children never quit. They have now have a way to get around computer filters, and put hard-core obscenity on your child’s computer. It’s called peer-to-peer file sharing, or P2P for short. Penny Nance, president of the Kids First Coalition and a board member of CWA recently testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on the dangers of peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing.

She also testified in support of HR 2885, sponsored by Congressman Joe Pitts, R-Pennsylvania, titled “Protecting Children from Peer-to-Peer Pornography Act.”

In this interview, Penny describes this new phenomenon and gives parents ways to protect their children online.
