U.S. Holds Back Effort to Expand U.N. Abortion Language in Latin America

Listen

CWA’s Senior Policy Director Wendy Wright has returned from a United Nations meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There, activists where hoping to expand on the abortion-on-demand language found in various U.N. documents by limiting the influence of the United States delegation. Policy analyst Martha Kleder spoke with Wendy about how, thanks to diligent pro-life groups, those efforts failed. Listen.

Joining Wendy in Puerto Rico were several CWA members. Click here to listen as Wendy tells how this group helped expose the plot to alienate the U.S. delegation.
