U.S. Approves Humanitarian Aid to the Darfur Region of Sudan

Despite a hard-won peace agreement reached with the Sudanese government, genocide and slavery continue, moving from the south, to the western region of Darfur. In response, Congress has just authorized humanitarian aid for the Darfur region. Here’s CWA’s Senior Policy Director, Wendy Wright.
