Judge Strikes Louisiana DMA
Listen
Pro-family activists vow to appeal the ruling of Judge Morvant who struck Louisiana’s Defense of Marriage Amendment because, he said, it violated the state’s germaneness rule. The judge contends that the amendment’s inclusion of a ban on “civil unions” was not germane to the subject of protecting marriage. With more on this development we have Robert Knight, director of CWA’s Culture and Family Institute and Jan LaRue, CWA’s chief counsel.
