After nearly eight months of campaigning between the President Bush and the Massachusetts Senator John Kerry, the final pre-election polls turned up tied – 49-49 in one CNN-USA Today-Gallup survey. In their last assessments of the race, campaigns from both sides say they see several combinations of states that would yield the 270 electoral votes needed for victory. CWA’s Chief Counsel, Jan LaRue, has more on this race that is too close to call.
