Judicial Nominees Could Hit a New Roadblock in Committee (13:20)

Senator Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania, is in line to become the next Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee – a post often handed out based on seniority. But Sen. Specter has made public comments that he would not approve any judicial nominees who would undermine the “right” to abortion, a position that would undermine the Bush administration’s plans to finally move nominees to the federal judiciary. But your voice could keep Senator Specter from the Chairmanship. Martha Kleder has more with Michael Schwartz, CWA’s Vice President for Government Relations.
