No Decrease in Abortions with Morning After Pill (5:14)
Listen
A recent study by the
Journal of the American Medical Association or
JAMA shows that easy access to the morning-after pill has no impact on pregnancy rates. The pregnancy rates for women handed the abortion pill were the same as for women who accessed the pill through a physician. Abortion advocates had hoped the study would show a decrease in pregnancy rates with the easier access, but the study didn’t support that hypothesis. With more, here is Wendy Wright, CWA’s Senior Policy Director.
