Schumer Amendment to the Bankruptcy Bill Defeated (4:39)

Thanks to your calls and action, a bill that would have prevented pro-life protesters from declaring bankruptcy has been defeated. The amendment, sponsored every year by Senator Chuck Schumer (D-New York), was defeated by a vote of 46-53. But as Michael Bowman, CWA’s director of State Legislative Relations notes, this is a much larger victory for pro-family Americans.
