UNFPA/China
with Steve Mosher and Mike Schwartz
Listen | More on this broadcast
President Bush calls the bill "flawed," but that he'll sign it anyway. After 7 years of negotiations, the Senate yesterday passed a Campaign Finance Reform Bill to ban all "soft money" donations to national political parties. Plus, an investigation last fall proved that the United Nations' Population Fund is involved with forced abortions in China, something they've denied for years. But believe it or not, even with proof from the investigator herself, liberals in Congress still want to increase funding for the Population Fund from 25 million to 34 million dollars! And some of them, like California Senator Barbara Boxer, revealed last week just how far they'll go to force the President's hand on this issue. For the latest update, listen in!
