It´s a shameful secret that society would like to stay in denial about especially within the church. We don´t want to believe that it may be happening to our neighbor, our best friend, our daughter, or the lady sitting next to us in the pew on Sunday morning. But it is. More than 50% of all women will experience violence from intimate partners at some time or another. And statistics show that the problem doesn´t stop at the church door.
