Southern Baptists Leaving Public Schools?

When the Southern Baptist Convention convenes for its national convention June 15 and 16, messengers may approve a resolution encouraging church members to “remove their children from the government schools and see to it that they have a thoroughly Christian education.” Policy Analyst Martha Kleder speaks with T.C. Pinckney, retired USAF brigadier general and prominent Southern Baptist leader, who co-sponsored the resolution with Houston, Texas attorney Bruce N. Shortt.
