U.S. High Court Gives Terrorism Detainees Rights to Civilian Courts

The U.S. Supreme Court in three decisions released Monday, has given terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base the right to have their cases heard in federal civilian courts. CWA’s Chief Counsel Jan LaRue explains the decisions, the strong dissent from the conservative members of the bench, and what these decisions mean for the war on terror.
