Colorado Court of Appeals Upholds Lesbian Custody Ruling

The Colorado Court of Appeals on Thursday upheld the 50-50 parenting-time split in the two-mommies custody case, a battle between a one-time lesbian couple over their adopted 9-year-old daughter. The legal adoptive mother, who has since become a Christian, also faces a court restriction over exposing her daughter to “homophobic religious teaching,” a matter which has yet to be defined by the court. CWA’s Chief Counsel Jan LaRue has more on this troubling ruling.
