Concerned Women for America Instrumental in Passage of the Marriage Protection Act

The Marriage Protection Act, which provides that no federal court can force an unwilling state to recognize a marriage granted by another state to a same-sex couple, passed the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 233-194.
