Number of Stalled Judicial Nominations Grows to 10

Senate Democrats denied three more judicial nominees an up-or-down confirmation vote. Three votes on July 22 failed to end the filibuster of three nominees to the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Michigan. The three judges being blocked are Richard A. Griffin, Henry W. Saad, and David W. McKeague. Martha Kleder has more with Michael Schwartz, CWA’s vice president of government relations.
