Newspaper Ads Warn That Sermons Could Be ‘Hate Crimes’

California’s Assembly is debating legislation that could turn church sermons into “hate crimes.” It’s happened in other places where “hate crimes” laws have been written to include homosexuality. CWA’s California Area Director Cindy Moles is spreading the word about the implications of this bill with newspaper ads. Martha Kleder spoke with Cindy on the ad campaign.
