CWA Celebrates 25 Years of Prayer and Action

This week, Concerned Women for America celebrates its 25th anniversary. Convention attendees will hear from such noted speakers as our founder, Mrs. Beverly LaHaye, Dr. Jerry Falwell, chancellor of Liberty University, and Dr. Ravi Zacharias. Dr. Ergun Mehmet Caner, Professor of Theology and Church History at Liberty University, will share about his conversion from Islam.

CWA experts will hold panel discussions on the war against pornography, the sex trafficking trade, the United Nations assault on life, faith and family. Robert Knight, director of CWA’s Culture and Family Institute will debate Lara Schwartz, Senior Counsel to the Human Rights Campaign on the issue of “gay marriage,” and Monty Patterson, father of Holly Patterson talks about his daughter’s tragic death related to the abortion drug RU-486.

There is still more! Congresswoman Jo Ann Davis, the first Republican woman elected to the United States House of Representatives in Virginia will bring us her perspective from Capitol Hill. Our good friend Stephen Bennett, evangelist and Christian recording artist will talk about leaving the homosexual lifestyle. Martha Kleder sat down with Rachel Starr, CWA’s Events Coordinator for a preview of this exciting program.
