Act Now to Strengthen Broadcast Indecency Penalties

FCC Commissioners
The FCC’s recent fine against Viacom-CBS for last season’s Super Bowl halftime incident, is the most glaring example of what is wrong with indecency enforcement – the inability of the FCC to impose meaningful fines. Jan LaRue, CWA’s Chief Counsel says your help is needed now to change that, as the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act is before a House-Senate Conference Committee.
