Federal Funds Go to Embryo Adoption

Listen | More on this broadcast

The Christian Medical Association (CMA) has received a $304,000 federal grant to promote embryo adoption. Along with the Baptist Health System Foundation in Knoxville, TN, the National Embryo Donation Center, Bethany Christian Services, and Baptist Hospital for Women, CMA will be conducting educational campaigns both in the media and in infertility clinics to let couples know they can place their unused or excess embryonic children up for adoption to be raised by an infertile couple, rather than having them destroyed. Martha Kleder has more on this with Dr. David Stevens, Executive Director of the Christian Medical Association.
