Senator Frist Fights for Boy Scouts (4:04)

Listen | More on this broadcast

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tennessee, introduced the “Save Our Scouts” bill. That legislation seeks to correct the deal cut by the Department of Defense with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) banning sponsorship of Boy Scout troops by military bases. While that measure was blocked from passage by someone in the minority party, it will return as a top priority when the new congress convenes in January. Martha Kleder has more with Bob Knight, director of CWA’s Culture & Family Institute.
