In the classic movie “Miracle on 34th Street” legendary retail rivals Macy’s and Gimble’s focus their battle for customers on Santa Claus. Today, a new rivalry is developing between Target Stores and Wal-Mart. At the center of the new battle we find the Salvation Army’s bell ringers and kettles. Robert Knight, director of CWA’s Culture & Family Institute has more on this battle and the latest with Macy’s.
