Bill to Criminalize Violence Against the Preborn Moves through West Virginia Legislature (2:39)

West Virginia joins a list of states amending their laws to increase the penalties for acts of violence against pregnant women by counting their babies as an additional victim. Michael Bowman, CWA’s Director of State Legislative Relations says that after numerous, horrifying news stories of pregnant women being attacked and killed, states across the country are moving the legislation with little urging from the traditional pro-life community.
