Your Help is Needed to Repeal Illinois’ ‘Sexual Orientation’ Law (4:18)

Listen | More on this broadcast

Efforts are underway in the Illinois legislature to overturn the state’s radical ‘sexual orientation’ law. With that law in place, employers would be powerless to stop employees from cross dressing on the job. Even the civil rights of Christians could be infringed if they express religious views seen as intolerant of these forms of perversion. Peter LaBarbera, former Senior Policy Analyst with CWA’s Culture & Family Institute and now the executive director of the Illinois Family Institute, has more on this battle and how you can make a difference.

Your calls still needed!
To help the Repeal effort, could you please contact your State Senator and ask him or her to co-sponsor SB 2037, the Repeal bill sponsored by Sen. Chris Lauzen (R-Aurora). SB 2037 has 11 sponsors but needs many more!

You can learn more about Illinois’ SB 3186 and join the efforts of Kathy Valente and Karen Hayes of CWA of Illinois by visiting the Illinois state Web page.
