Across the country, the deadlines for voter registration are fast approaching. Election officials say that on average, only about 54 percent of eligible Americans turn out to vote. Sadly, that’s true even in our churches. This week CWA is launching a voter registration campaign, called Vote for a Better Tomorrow, aimed at getting more citizens to participate. Our goal is to register 500,000 new voters. With more on how you can play a key role in this campaign, is Mike Mears, CWA’s Director of State Legislative Relations.
