Planned Parenthood's 'Teenwire': Debauching Our Children     9/19/2004
By Lee Duigon

Web site openly promotes fornication, bisexuality and homosexuality.

Commentary

In a recent column, Dear Abby responded to a 13-year-old’s query about how to get information on sex. Her mother, she said, wouldn’t discuss the subject with her. So Abby directed this young girl to Planned Parenthood’s Teenwire, www.teenwire.com.

I recently checked out this so-called "Web resource," and the most honest words I found on Teenwire were: "Sorry, your search for sexual morality found no matches."

As America's children go back to school, Planned Parenthood works to rush them into sexual activity. There are still some places where Planned Parenthood hasn't wormed its way into the classroom, but Teenwire fills the gaps.

Parents, this grand campaign to debauch our children is paid for with our tax dollars.

Want to see what we’re getting for our money? Here are a few examples from Teenwire. Sorry about the language – but hey, we’re paying for it.

Question (from a 15-year-old girl): "I'm a virgin and I gave my boyfriend oral sex. My period hasn't come. Could I be pregnant?"

Answer: Pregnancy "does not happen if sex play is limited to oral sex." Planned Parenthood's definition of sex play includes oral sex and “ vaginal and anal intercourse."

Answering a question from "Josh," Teenwire says, "It's completely OK to be attracted to both girls and guys."

Pearls of wisdom from the site's "Hothouse" section:

  • "I've had sex with both guys and girls, and I like them both. Gender doesn't matter—a person's a person."
  • "I think bisexuality's a big deal—it doubles your chance of getting a date on Friday night."
  • "It's totally normal for two girls to engage in sex play together."

The site also features interactive games like "Jim Dandy and His Very Gay Day" and "Hooray for Birth Control" ("when you're getting jiggy but you don't want to be a mom or dad") and has movies for sale, like Lipstick ("This is Emily's story of coming out ... written by Planned Parenthood peer educators").

If you need to see more, go to the Teenwire Web site, www.teenwire.org. Or you can just send your kids to it, and then feign astonishment when they start experimenting with every sex act known to fallen humanity. They might even come down with AIDS.

What can you do about it? You can campaign to get Planned Parenthood kicked out of your local schools and public libraries. You might consider pulling your kids out of the public schools. You can stop voting for politicians who reward Planned Parenthood with government contracts.

In a country where the president and Congress together can't put a stop to partial-birth abortion, not even by passing a law against it, it may seem petty to complain about corrupting those children who make it past the abortionist. The fact that Planned Parenthood has arranged for us to pay for it only adds injury to injury.

Is Teenwire what we want for our children?
