Data Digest: President Obama’s Vision for America?

Data Digest: President Obama’s Vision for America?
By: Janice Crouse, Ph.D. - 1/7/2014

DataDigestFBThe first 2014 Data Digest from Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) Beverly LaHaye Institute (BLI) presents graphs from the first five years of the Obama presidency showing dramatic increases in food stamp recipients and people receiving disability insurance, contrasted with the even more dramatic decreases in male labor force participation.  Dr. Janice Shaw Crouse, Executive Director and Senior Fellow of BLI and  the author of the Data Digest, asks, “Is the shift toward government dependency — represented by the increase in unemployment, along with the increase in food stamp and disability recipients — the kind of ‘fundamental transformation’ of the nation that the president promised in 2008?”
