Sen. Marco Rubio, Dr. Russell Moore, Penny Nance to Host Discussion on Marriage, Faith, and Community in Promoting Upward Mobility in America
WASHINGTON, D.C. — On July 23, 2014, Penny Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America, will join Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) and Dr. Russell Moore, President of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, in a discussion highlighting the connection between the breakdown of the family and our country’s most pressing economic issues. Sen. Rubio’s policy remarks will be followed by a panel discussion that will also include Sister Ann Patrick Conrad, Associate Professor of Social Work at Catholic University of America, Richard Reeves, Fellow in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution, and Brad Wilcox, Director of the National Marriage Project.
The event will be hosted by the Catholic University of America Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies and the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
